Advising

Prospective Students

If you are interested in teaching, but not yet admitted to the College of Education, you should attend an information session for more details about the education program requirements and admission process.  Please see the Calendar below for scheduled sessions.  If you have any additional questions, please contact Dr. April Brecht.

Current Students

You should meet with your College of Education advisor at least once per semester to review your academic progress.  Your advisor will share important information about courses, program completion, and licensure requirements.

All College of Education students will be assigned to Dr. April Brecht as the initial education advisor.

Students will be assigned a faculty advisor once certain program requirements are met.  Students may check Banner or EAB Campus for the assigned advisor.

**The College of Education advisors can only remove advising holds for undergraduate students with a declared Elementary Education major AND all post-graduate students.
