The collaborative/inclusion setting occurs when a percentage of special education students are included in a classroom. Special education students receive accommodations from a special education teacher present in the classroom in addition to the classroom teacher.

– teachers share instruction, grading, and disciplinarian roles
– teachers provide appropriate accommodations
– teachers include all students in activities
