Prerequisites

  • Earned undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited college or university
  • GPA of 2.7 or higher on undergraduate course work and a 3.0 or higher on graduate course work
  • Three years of experience as a licensed teacher

  • Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate course work
  • Résumé outlining work experience and education
  • Verification of the collegiate professional or postgraduate professional license
  • Two written essays
  • Two current, sealed written references from your immediate supervisor and others qualified to address teaching performance and leadership potential

Interview Component

  • In-person interview with College of Education administrators and faculty
  • Writing exercise that may involve responding to a case study or producing a sample administrative letter
